Yesterday we went to Yad Veshem, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. It was very eye opening. There is one in DC that is apparently very similar so if you get a chance try to go. We only made i through the main exhibit which took over three hours. It started out with the rise of Hitler and Nazism and then went through the many different camps that were all throughout Europe and specific things about each. It's a horrible thing that happened in our history. The reality of it is very sobering and scary that a group of people could be so disillusioned to treat other people as if they were non-human.

While we were waiting for our ride we met, Edom. She is a Holocaust survivor and was in the camps when she was only 15. She was the only survivor from her family, all of them were killed. She lived in Chezlovakia and now lives in Brooklyn, NY. She comes to Israel once a year and was waiting for her kids and grandkids who were inside the museum. She said she couldn't handle being in there, it brought back too many memories. You could tell she obviously had a lot of hurt and pain in her heart. We didn't pry into her life, just kind of let her talk and say what she wanted. She didn't say much, but she did tell us she still remembers the soldiers laughing as they killed people in mass.. pretty disturbing. She is an amazing women and I feel so honored to have met her. Lord, bless Edom and heal her heart Jesus.

We learned that in Hebrew the United States means "land of the covenant." Pretty interesting..

The Temple Mount watches are my favorite. We go up Mt Zion and walk around with Jon & Una and pray with whoever is with them. This week they brought some believers from Hong Kong. We agreed with them in prayer as they wanted to repent on behalf of their country and pray for the government. Today is the 60th year anniversary of the People's Republic of China. Jon talked about how now is the time for Asia! And the Lord is raising up believers in Asia for the "back to Jerusalem movement" which is them taking the gospel to all the countries between them and Israel. He talked about how we need to be ready to serve and support them during this time. As an act of saying, "yes", we washed their feet and prayed a blessing over them. I can't believe I am getting the opportunity to pray once a week with different people from all over the world in the actual place where the temple will be rebuilt and Jesus will rule from in the Millennial kingdom. He's so good!!

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
